Everyone should understand that the projects of Central Asian countries cannot be completed without Azerbaijan and Georgia. Central Asian countries can independently connect East and West through Azerbaijan and Georgia,” Head of Center for Strategic Planning of Georgia, political scientist Levan Mamaladze said in an interview with AZERTAC.
Noting that a large volume of cargo is transported to Europe via Central Asia and the South Caucasus from China to Europe, Levan Mamaladze said: "For this particular reason, new ports are being built in Georgia. Therefore, the Central Asian countries are interested in further strengthening these ties. The new geopolitical situation will increase the importance of the Middle Corridor."
