The interstate relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have reached an unprecedented level in recent years, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said during talks with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
According to Report, Japarov recalled that the Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz Development Fund was created during the state visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Kyrgyzstan in October last year. Work is now underway to finalize organizational, legal and financial issues.
In this context, the President of Kyrgyzstan invited the competent authorities to accelerate the launch of the fund's activities and begin implementing projects in which both parties are interested.
During the talks, the leaders of the two countries confirmed their mutual desire to strengthen and expand the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
