President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić has received Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

The two hailed the strategic partnership between the two countries, and stressed the importance of mutual high-level visits, including President Ilham Aliyev`s state visit to Serbia last November and President Aleksandar Vučić`s working visit to Azerbaijan last December.

The sides also exchanged views on the prospects for trade and economic relations, and lauded the activity of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

They also noted that the two countries enjoy wide opportunities for cooperation in energy, agriculture, tourism and other areas.

The Serbian President and the Azerbaijani FM discussed the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and possibilities of establishment of sustainable peace in the region.

President Aleksandar Vučić said that Serbia has always supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and thanked Azerbaijan for supporting the territorial integrity of Serbia.

The pair also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
