Washington will continue to introduce anti-Russian measures for non-compliance with the oil price ceiling, XQ informs referring to The Wall Street Journal.

The US is exploring the possibility of increasing the cost of servicing vessels used by Russia. To this end, Washington has already offered port managers a list of recommendations that will increase costs for the Russian side.

The list of conditions will include the availability of the necessary insurance for movement in the waters. At the same time, the publication doesn’t know whether politicians from other countries will approve of the US initiative.

Earlier, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that the parties would agree on the 12th package of sanctions against Russia, which would introduce new import and export bans and actions to tighten the oil price ceiling.
