Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu has emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts between Azerbaijan and Moldova in the fields of energy, economy, agriculture and investment as he met with Azerbaijani Ambassador to the country Gudsi Osmanov.
He also stressed the significance of continuing efforts to promote mutual cooperation between the two countries.
Noting that Moldova and Azerbaijan have close friendly relations, Deputy PM Nicu Popescu underlined that both countries support each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
The sides hailed the significant intensification of cooperation both at the high level and at the level of specialized institutions of both countries in recent years.
