The Foreign Affairs Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, discussed the results of the Tehran meeting in a telephone conversation with his Russian colleague Sergey Lavrov, XQ informs, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

During the discussion, the ministers exchanged views on the issues on the agenda, bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Europe, progress in the development of the Armenian-Armenian peace process, the current situation in the regions, the results of the ministerial session of the "3+3" regional platform in Tehran, preparation for the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Caspian countries that will take place in Moscow in December 2023.

The ministers noted that there is a real step forward in establishing lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and they also noted the importance of not missing the historical opportunity that has arisen in the region.

The diplomats also exchanged opinions on several other issues of mutual interest.
