The end of the conflict in the South Caucasus has given countries in the region a historic opportunity to work to promote peace and cooperation, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said at the first ministerial meeting of the 3+3 format in Tehran.
"We believe that today is a historic opportunity for all our countries. The war in the South Caucasus is over, and the time has come for peace, cooperation and development in the Caucasus," the Iranian diplomat noted.
He emphasized that the main goal of the meeting in the 3+3 format is to solve existing problems with the direct participation of countries in the region without the interference of extra-regional players.
