The provision of medicines for the treatment of measles is at the highest level, TABIB executive director Vugar Gurbanov told journalists, Report informs.

According to him, the situation regarding measles in the country is stable: "Citizens' appeals to medical institutions are recorded. If parents detect any symptoms of measles in their children, they should contact medical institutions directly. Our medical institutions, doctors, and health workers are ready for this. If necessary, they will be involved in inpatient treatment. There are conditions for this."

He noted that there is no shortage in hospitals: "We see that citizens prefer home treatment, but we are not in favor of it. Special instructions have been sent to medical institutions in this regard. Field doctors assess the condition of both patients and their families in their areas. If the patient needs inpatient treatment, he/she is admitted to the hospital, and if any patient needs observation at home, he/she is kept under observation at home."
