On December 4, Vugar Mustafayev, Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Industry, met with a delegation led by Lord Vernon Coaker, Minister of State for Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, who is on an official visit to the country.

Minister Vugar Mustafayev expressed confidence that Vernon Coaker's visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to boosting cooperation in the defense industry between the two countries. Highlighting Azerbaijan's defense industry sector, he emphasized that the sector is developing sustainably and that international partnerships are crucial for its growth.

The Minister provided extensive information on Azerbaijan's achievements in the defense industry, its production capabilities, and the application of new technologies. He expressed his optimism that the development of relations with the UK in the field of defense industry would bring mutual benefits.

Lord Vernon Coaker expressed his gratitude for the cordial meeting and highly praised the role played by Azerbaijan in regional stability and security. He reiterated the United Kingdom’s interest in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in various fields, including the defense industry.
