The British Embassy in Baku announced the appointment of the first British resident defense attaché in Azerbaijan, the diplomatic mission wrote on X, Report informs.
This position has been filled by Gavin Tarbard.
“We are delighted to announce the arrival of Lieutenant Commander Gavin Tarbard as the first British resident Defense Attaché in Azerbaijan. This historic milestone reflects the growing strength of the UK-Azerbaijan partnership and will enhance our defense and security cooperation,” reads the post.
