The leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan observed the command-staff exercise of the Land Forces, conducted in accordance with the 2025 training plan.

According to the Defense Ministry, the exercise began with task clarification on the map, followed by commanders presenting their reports on the decisions made.

Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov was briefed on the progress of the exercise. Under the plan, units were placed on alert and deployed to the exercise area. Brought to a state of combat readiness, they implemented camouflage, security measures, and battle training using modern techniques and equipment.

Colonel General Hasanov commended the exercise, which focused on improving commanders' decision-making and management skills, as well as ensuring coordination between headquarters and units during various states of combat readiness. He also assigned specific tasks to senior officers to enhance military personnel’s professionalism and combat training.
