The Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) received Saturday another 6 specially trained mine detection dogs, which will be involved in the mine-clearing operations in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
The initiative is part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between ANAMA and the US Marshall Legacy Institute (MLI).
Following the relevant adaptation training with their guides and accreditation based on the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS), the new mine detection dogs will be deployed in Azerbaijan’s liberated areas.
