“During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Lachin, Shusha, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, 147 anti-personnel, 130 anti-tank mines, as well as 1067 unexploded ordnances (UXO) were found and neutralized from October 16 to October 22,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“In total, 611,4 hectares of territory were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
