The feature film “Sermon to the Void” by director Hilal Baydarov, supported by the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been selected for the official program of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, one of the world’s most prestigious film events.
The film will be screened in the “Out of Competition – Fiction” section.
“Sermon to the Void,” the final installment in the director’s “Sermon” trilogy, is a co-production between Azerbaijan, Mexico, and Türkiye.
This marks Hilal Baydarov’s second film to be screened at Venice.
