Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Religious Institutions of Azerbaijan, will visit the Vatican on July 26.
During the visit, a “Memorandum of Understanding in the field of interreligious dialogue between the State Committee on Work with Religious Institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue of the Holy See” is scheduled to be signed.
The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in promoting interreligious dialogue.
Its main objectives include contributing to the protection of cultural and religious heritage and enhancing collaboration between religious educational institutions, as well as advancing interfaith dialogue on a global scale.
As part of the visit, which will continue until July 30, Ramin Mammadov is also expected to meet with officials of the Holy See.
