Azerbaijani delegation joins opening of Shanghai TV Festival

On June 23, an Azerbaijani delegation attended the opening ceremony of the 30th Shanghai Television Festival (STVF) in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. The 30th STVF, a major international event in the television industry, serves as a key platform for discussions on creative ideas, international collaboration, and emerging trends in television and media.

Established in 1986 and celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the Shanghai TV Festival is recognized as the first television festival in East Asia and one of the continent’s most prominent media events. Its primary aim is to promote high-quality television productions and foster dialogue on global media trends.

The Azerbaijani delegation includes Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan; Ismat Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council; Kamran Hasanov, Head of the Media Sector of the Department for Work with Non-Governmental Organizations and Communication of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan; Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC); and Rufat Hamzayev, Executive Director of AnewZ TV channel.
