Serbia hosts AZERTAC-initiated photo exhibition marking 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev

Initiated by the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) and supported by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Serbia, a photo exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of founder and architect of the independent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev has been arranged at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade.

 

The event brought together the representatives of the local community, members of diplomatic corps accredited in Serbia, art and science figures, as well as members of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center operating in Belgrade, representatives of the AzVirt Company and Azerbaijanis living, working and studying in Serbia.

 

Addressing the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador Kamil Khasiyev highlighted the life, activity and the unparalleled services of renowned political and state figure Heydar Aliyev, which had contributed significantly to the restoration and strengthening of Azerbaijan’s independence, as well as ensuring stability in the country.

 

He noted that the exhibition, organized as part of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, featured the photos highlighting Great Leader Heydar Aliyev’s life, activity and meetings.

 

The diplomat expressed his gratitude to the participants for their tribute to outstanding statesman Heydar Aliyev.

 

The exhibition also featured the 20 photos from AZERTAC’s photo chronicles.
