Property and cultural monuments in Khankandi are under protection and have not been damaged, Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) said at the presentation of the report "Disputes around the Lachin-Khankandi road."
Report informs that, according to him, Azerbaijan complies with the decisions of the International Court of Justice: "It is still difficult to say anything about how the processes will develop in the future. The Azerbaijani government has announced that anyone can return. I think those who wish to return will be given a certain time to make a decision. Whoever wants will stay, and whoever doesn’t want to will come and take their property."
