Protests against presidential candidate Calin Georgescu continued on Thursday evening in several cities in Romania, according to AGERPRESS.
Over one thousand persons gathered again before the Prefect Institution headquarters, where they demonstrated for democracy and against Calin Georgescu.
Same as on Wednesday evening, when over one thousand persons participated in the protest as well, the demonstrators on Thursday evening chanted slogans such as "Love of country is not legionary," "Democracy, not tyranny," "Youth says in chorus, do not vote a dictator," "Alert, anti-fascist alert."
Moreover, they bore placards and banners with messages such as "Europe," "I don't want to leave my country," "I am afraid in my country," "Educated youth do not vote for fascists and legionaries," alongside flags of Romania and the European Union.
The protests were organised by the "Students for democracy" independent group.
