“We look forward to the New Collective Quantified Goal on Climate Finance (NCQG) being finalized. Because the more we delay, the more crisis hits African countries, the more it hits the global south,” Denise Akampurira Ayebura, Executive Director of the “Better Life” International organization of Uganda, told AZERTAC.
“So, we look forward to increasing the pace at which we can achieve finance binding legal amendment so that we can ensure that these individuals have access to whatsoever they want - the finances, to deal with adaptation mitigation, and to ensure that we have climate action,” she added.
