Alliance of Turkic News Agencies (ATNA) confirmed its logo

The logo of the Alliance of Turkic News Agencies (ATNA) has been approved, the Secretariat of the Organization told AZERTAC.

Kyrgyz National News Agency Kabar won in voting in the logo design competition held between 5 agencies that are members of the alliance - Anadolu (Türkiye), AZERTAC (Azerbaijan), Kabar (Kyrgyz Republic), Gazkontent (Kazakhstan) and UzA (Uzbekistan).

The Alliance of Turkic News Agencies (ATNA) was established on November 6, 2023, at the General Assembly held in Istanbul. The purpose of the alliance is to strengthen cooperation between Turkic news agencies, carry out operational information exchange, jointly fight against fake news, conduct trainings, and ensure the organization's integration into the global information environment.

The first meeting of the Executive Committee of the organization was held on July 21, 2024 in Shusha. Heads and representatives of Anadolu Agency, AZERTAC, Kabar, Gazkontent and UzA agencies took part in the meeting. During the meeting, it was decided to consider the issue of accepting Hungary's MTI agency as an observer to the Alliance and put it to a vote in the next year's General Assembly.

Anadolu Agency is currently the chair of ATNA.
