Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kenya Sultan Hajiyev met with the country’s Director of Public Prosecutions Renson Mulele Ingonga.
Renson Ingonga and his accompanied delegation viewed National Leader Heydar Aliyev's memorial room, and the corner dedicated to the Azerbaijani statehood created in the embassy’s administrative building, and paid tribute to his memory.
During the meeting, Ambassador Sultan Hajiyev highlighted the life and activity of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the Azerbaijani state.
Noting that Azerbaijan will host of the COP29 this year, and the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) scheduled for 2026, Sultan Hajiyev stressed the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kenya in the fight against global climate change within the framework of COP29.
Renson Mulele Ingonga said he is looking forward to his Azerbaijani counterpart Kamran Aliyev’s visit to Kenya, expressing his confidence that this visit will mark a new phase of cooperation between the two countries’ prosecutor offices.
