The international scientific conference themed "Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024" has ended in Baku.
The final plenary session focused on “The Matrix of Gendered Islamophobia: Muslim Women`s Repression and Resistance, Gender and Society”, moderated by Esmira Jafarova, the Board Member of the Center of Analysis of International Relations.
Speakers at the final session included Professor Zora Arfina from the University of Indonesia, Amina Easat-Daas, the Lecturer in Politics at De Montfort University, Zara Mohammed, the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), Aydin Safikhanli, the Head of Ombudsman Office, and others.
The conference culminated with the adoption of the Joint Communiqué.
