Azerbaijan’s energy minister to attend GECF summit in Algeria
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov has embarked on a visit to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to participate in the 7th Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), which will be held in the capital city of Algiers.
The summit will see discussions on politics, recent developments and trends in the gas sector, as well as the role of natural gas resources in the global energy market in the coming period.
As part of the visit, Minister Parviz Shahbazov will hold several bilateral meetings.
Azerbaijan is represented at the Forum as an observer member.
