The Baku International Multiculturalism Center broadened its international relations in 2023, through various collaborations. Notably, the center signed a memorandum of cooperation with Kazakhstan's Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research and the Kirkuk Cultural Association.
The memorandum with the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research aims to foster cooperation in scientific research, offering methodological and expert support for public solidarity and unity.
Similarly, the memorandum with the Kirkuk Cultural Association is geared towards strengthening the cultural unity of Turkic peoples. It also seeks to enhance Azerbaijan's cultural connections with Azerbaijanis residing abroad and Turkmen historically located in the Republic of Iraq. The agreement emphasizes mutual learning, as well as the promotion of shared historical traditions, ethnic cultural values, and spiritual heritage.
