A seminar on Korea-Azerbaijan agricultural cooperation was held in Baku on December 2.
The event aimed to present the current partnership between Korea and Azerbaijan in agriculture, explore new opportunities for cooperation, and exchange ideas for future collaboration.
In his remarks, Korean Ambassador Kang Kymgu noted that future relations between the two countries will focus on agriculture, education, and healthcare, with particular emphasis on agriculture due to Azerbaijan’s government prioritization of non-oil sector development.
Anar Jafarov, Director of the Agrarian Innovation Center, emphasized that the seminar marks a new phase of long-term cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea. He highlighted that expanding collaboration in areas such as agricultural productivity, high-tech innovation, digitalization, and the integration of scientific research into production will significantly benefit the sustainable development of agriculture in both countries.
The seminar also featured representatives from the Korean Rural Development Administration and the companies Baramgaebi and Dainfine.
