The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) hosted a delegation of the National Bank of Kazakhstan as part of bilateral cooperation.
Interactive meetings held at the Central Bank focused on the exchange of modern practices in the financial sector, particularly in central (national) banks, including regulatory innovations.
Participants also explored the functionality and development of current automated banking information systems used for consolidated financial reporting, the recognition and measurement of financial instruments and other assets and liabilities in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as the implementation of new financial reporting standards.
The parties exchanged views on key issues related to enhancing transparency in financial reporting and other matters of mutual interest.
