Azerbaijan became Georgia's second largest export partner in January

In January 2025, Azerbaijan became Georgia's second-largest export partner, according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Service of Georgia, Report informs.

Georgia's total exports grew by 19.3% and reached $403.9 million. Azerbaijan's imports from Georgia amounted to $46.2 million. Overall, in January 2025, the CIS share in Georgia's exports was 64.2%. Meanwhile, sales in some of Georgia's main export markets - Russia, Türkiye and China - decreased.

At the same time, Azerbaijan remains one of the stable markets for Georgian products.
