Azerbaijan and Spain recently engaged in discussions to explore economic cooperation prospects, Report informs, referring to the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).

AZPROMO hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Ankara.

During the meeting, the significance of AZPROMO's support for initiatives aimed at enhancing economic relations between the two countries was highlighted.

The discussions covered the organization of meetings and a business forum, set to take place during the Spanish delegation's planned visit to Azerbaijan in March 2025. The conversation focused on potential collaboration between Azerbaijan and Spain, joint initiatives under consideration, and opportunities for mutual partnerships.

Emphasis was also placed on expanding the legislative framework for economic and trade relations between the two nations, as well as capitalizing on existing opportunities.

To this end, participants exchanged views on strengthening direct relations between business circles in both countries and deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
