Baku to host Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum

Baku will host the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum on September 16, Report informs via Pakistani media.

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov met with Abdul Aleem Khan, Pakistan's Federal Minister for Privatization, to discuss bilateral cooperation matters. The two also exchanged views on the upcoming business forum in Baku.

Minister Khan emphasized that the business forum aims to foster business activity between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. The event is expected to expand opportunities for the two countries to invest in various sectors and promote joint projects.

According to Khan, Pakistan and Azerbaijan can invest in food security, information technology, healthcare, agriculture, and other areas.

He stated, "Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan can play a crucial role in the region's development, and to achieve this, a mutual investment and cooperation agenda must be implemented."

During the meeting with the Azerbaijani Ambassador, it was decided that the Pakistani delegation attending the business forum would be led by Abdul Aleem Khan and Jam Kamal Khan, the Federal Minister for Commerce.

Farhadov, in turn, noted that Azerbaijan can invest in liquefied natural gas, urea, electricity, and other sectors in Pakistan.
