In January of this year, Azerbaijan produced 406 passenger cars, which is 211 cars or 2.1 times more than in the corresponding month of 2023, Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.
As of February 1, the country had 266 ready-made products in stock.
In total, the country produced machinery and equipment worth 50.8 million manats ($29.84 million), other vehicles, cars, trailers and semi-trailers. Compared to January 2023, the production of machinery and equipment remained at the same level, the production of cars, trailers and semi-trailers increased by 54.1%, while the production of other vehicles decreased by 66.5%.
Last month, Azerbaijan produced 49 tractors, a decline of 51.5% compared to January 2023. As a result, the country had a stock of 10 finished products as of February 1.
Also, during this period, the country produced 63 trucks, which is 57.5% more than the indicator of January 2023.
