AzerGold JSC has invested a total of 707 million manats ($415.42 million) in the implementation of mining projects since its inception until today (2016-2023), Zakir Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AzerGold CJSC, said at the press conference dedicated to the results of 2023 and future tasks held today, Report informs.
According to him, only 6% of this amount, or 45 million manats ($26.43 million, was provided through allocations from the state budget: "This is mainly the funds allocated from the state budget in the first years of the JSC's operation. Currently, financing from the state budget is mainly for the implementation of iron ore projects, which are a new field of activity."
