UN Resident Coordinator: Azerbaijan has potential to increase annual exports to over $1 bln

“Within the next five years, Azerbaijan has the potential to increase its annual exports to over $1 billion,” said UN Resident Coordinator Vladanka Andreeva as she addressed the event themed “Consultations with interested parties regarding non-tariff barriers during trade and the rules of trade in services”.

Andreeva highlighted the continuous growth in Azerbaijan's exports over the past few years, noting that it reached $35 billion in 2022. “This includes almost $130 million in untapped potential in the EU alone. Non-mineral exports nearly doubled in the last five years. Azerbaijan has growth potential in the next five years,” Vladanka Andreeva added.
