The World Bank (WB) conducted a study and prepared recommendations regarding the role of women in Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC, program coordinator of the WB Azerbaijan office Leyla Taghiyeva said, according to Report.
Taghiyeva noted that the attitude of both organizations to this issue is positive, and work is being done to increase women's participation.
"We studied the company's HR policies regarding women, familiarized ourselves with a number of procedures and the number of female employees. We also studied hiring procedures, career development opportunities, etc.," she said.
