President of SOCAR Rovshan Najaf has met with Senior Vice President for the Exploration and Production business across Europe for TotalEnergies Jean-Luc Guiziou.
The sides lauded the longstanding fruitful cooperation between SOCAR and TotalEnergies, highlighting the successful completion of the Initial Production Scheme stage for the development of the Absheron gas and condensate field.
The parties reviewed the work accomplished under the Cooperation Agreement on the full-scale development of the Absheron gas and condensate field, as well as the implementation of methane gas detection and measurement campaigns using drones, a joint effort between TotalEnergies and SOCAR.
The two exchanged views on the possibilities for expanding cooperation in the fields of oil and gas, green energy, decarbonization, and other issues of mutual interest.
