Denmark national team coach Kasper Hjulmand has resigned following his country’s EURO 2024 exit, according to OneFootball.
In a statement released on Friday, Hjulmand confirmed his departure after four years in the role admitting it is “what’s best for the team”.
Denmark qualified from Group C of EURO 2024 but were controversially knocked out by hosts Germany in the last 16.
The Danish FA have revealed that Morten Wieghorst will be the caretaker boss until a permanent manager is found.
