Azerbaijani chess player Rauf Mammadov has got off to a roaring start at the 2023 European Rapid & Blitz Chess Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.
After the six round, Mammadov is tied for the 2nd-5th places with 5.5 points.
The rapid tournament will be followed by the blitz tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
Almost more than 500 chess players are contesting medals in the tournament.
