Azerbaijani chess players Vugar Rasulov, Ahmad Ahmadzade, Read Samadov, as well as female players Gulnar Mammadova and Khanim Balajayeva will test their strength at the Qatar Masters Open 2023, one of the strongest open tournaments of the year, to be held in Doha from October 11 to 20.
The nine-round Swiss open tournament with a $108,250 prize fund, will bring together 250 male and female players from 42 countries, including the top seeds Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Anish Giri and Dommaraju Gukesh.
