“We have an active Azerbaijani community in Moldova, and we are quite pleased with it. The Azerbaijani community is engaged in the social and political life of Moldova and contributes to the country's well-being,” said Igor Grosu, President of the Moldovan Parliament, during a meeting with Elchin Bayramov, Chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Moldova, and members of the diaspora.
According to him, one of the key components of the ties between the two nations is the Azerbaijani population in Moldova.
Chairman Elchin Bayramov noted that the Azerbaijani community has always felt the support of the Moldovan government. He emphasized that the Azerbaijani community will continue to serve as a bridge in the development of cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
