Juneyd Ganbarov, a student at ADA School, has won a gold medal at the Global Stage of the International Math Challenge (IMC).
According to Report, the final stage of the competition took place at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
Ganbarov was awarded 7th place among the 71 strongest participants in his category from around the world.
More than 10,000 students from 140 countries participated in this year's IMC. Only 45 percent of the participants with the best results qualified for the final.
Expressing his gratitude to ADA School mathematics teacher Burhan Ondar Barazi, Ganbarov acknowledged that his personal efforts, continuous preparation, and the knowledge and skills gained at school, as well as his teachers, played a significant role in his success.
ADA School constantly encourages students to test their knowledge and skills on international platforms, supports the development of their scientific potential, and evaluates these achievements as a useful tool for Azerbaijan's academic recognition.
