ADA University hosts event on importance of startups

ADA University on Friday hosted an event highlighting the importance of startups.

The participants of the event, held as part of the Baku Climate Action Week, familiarized themselves with the exhibition of students' startups. A group of students made presentations about their draft projects towards a more sustainable future.

Zaur Gardashov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBİA, hailed the state support for start-ups. He emphasized the importance of startups.

Tural Alishov, Representative of the department of the Ministry of Science and Education, highlighted the new projects implemented by the ministry to support talented young people in Azerbaijan and abroad.

Leyla Hasanova, Youth Climate Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan, noted that climate weeks are mainly held in central cities of the world, including London and New York. She pointed out that the climate week is organized for the first time in the Central Asia region.
