Rector of Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has met with Congolese students who entered BHOS this academic year.

Congratulating the students, the rector said that in 5 years, they will start serving their country as professionals. Elmar Gasimov emphasized that the Congolese students are studying at Baku Higher Oil School within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Training between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the National Oil Company of the Republic of Congo (SNPC) signed by SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and SNPC Director General Maixent Raoul Ominga.

Then, the rector approached each student individually, listened to their concerns and gave relevant instructions to address these concerns.

8 Congolese young people will pursue a bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering at the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR in the 2024-2025 academic year.
