Saudi Crown Prince, British Prime Minister hold extensive talks

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, received on Monday United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

An official reception at the Royal Court in Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh was held in honor of the British prime minister, after which HRH the Crown Prince and Starmer held extensive talks.

At the beginning of the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the British prime minister to Saudi Arabia, wishing him and his delegation a pleasant stay. In turn, the prime minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm hospitality and reception extended to him and his delegation.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral relations, along with joint efforts to enhance various areas of cooperation.

They also discussed opportunities to leverage the resources of both countries to achieve mutual interests, as well as regional and international developments, issues of common concern, and the efforts being made in this regard.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi, Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan.

Attending the meeting from the British side were British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Neil Crompton, National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, Deputy Chief of the Prime Minister's Office Vidhya Alakeson, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister for Business and Investment Varun Chandra, and several other officials.
