The Russian delegation led by Igor Babushkin, the governor of the Astrakhan Oblast of the Russian Federation, visited the liberated Gubadli district on December 10.
A the Zangilan International Airport, the delegation was welcomed by Vahid Hajiyev, Special Representative of the Azerbaijani President in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Zangilan International Airport and the newly built kindergarten in Mahruzlu village, funded by the Astrakhan oblast. Vahid Hajiyev highlighted the 80-seat kindergarten, comprising three buildings and two floors, as a meaningful gift from Astrakhan, showcasing the strong friendship between the neighboring Russian region and Azerbaijan.
The delegation was accompanied by Abdin Farzaliyev, Head of Absheron Executive Authority.
