13 people detained during protest in front of Georgian Parliament

13 people were detained in the protest against the law on ‘foreign agents’ in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Report informs.

They were detained for petty hooliganism and disobeying the police.

Notably, after the adoption of the law, there was tension between the police and the protesters.

Currently, tension continues on Rustaveli Avenue, where the parliament building is located. The police have full control of the building. A large number of police special forces and water cannons were involved in the area.
