The tax debt of 145,000 citizens in Georgia, totaling 590 million lari ($220 million) will be erased, the Prime Minister of the country, Irakli Kobakhidze, said, Report informs.
The prime minister stated many individuals in Georgia have tax debts, making it impossible for them to carry out their economic activity.
"Unpaid and recognized tax debts of all natural persons, including individual entrepreneurs, incurred until January 1, 2021, as well as calculated fines, will be annuled," Kobakhidze said.
