Nikol Pashinyan's resignation demanded

The "Together" movement demanded the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the entire Cabinet of Ministers, a representative of the movement, leader of the Democratic Party Aram Sargsyan said during the press conference, Report informs, citing the local press.

The movement plans to hold a rally on February 20 at Freedom Square in Yerevan.

According to him, 100 reasons for such a request will be presented at the protest rally: "We want to help Pashinyan get rid of this responsibility because he cannot withstand such an excessive burden."

The representatives of the movement invited the deputies representing the opposition to participate in the rally.

Sarkisyan emphasized that negotiations are currently underway with the political forces in Armenia regarding their participation in the rally and the process as a whole.

The representative of the movement, the former prime minister of Armenia, Grant Bagratyan, said that the current government does not pursue a far-sighted policy, as it wants to make geopolitical choices in favor of the West and expects its help.

He noted that if Pashinyan resigns voluntarily, a security guarantee will be provided for him and his family.
