Szijjarto to discuss preparations for Orban-Zelenskyy meeting with Kuleba on January 29

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto and his Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba will hold talks on January 29 to prepare a meeting between Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy, Report informs via TASS.

According to Szijjarto, his negotiations with Kuleba will take place in Uzhgorod (Transcarpathian region of Ukraine).

"At the end of last year, I spoke with the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, who once again put forward the idea of holding a summit meeting [between Orban and Zelenskyy]. I told him that, in our opinion, such a meeting would make sense if it brings results, and we need to prepare for it. If everything goes well, then on January 29 we will discuss this at a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in Uzhgorod," Szijjarto said at a press conference after a meeting in Budapest with Montenegro Foreign Minister Filip Ivanovic.
