Protesters in Belgrade have set up two dozen tents in the city center, with about three dozen people sleeping in them. Police regulate traffic around the camp, Report informs.
On the afternoon of December 29, demonstrators announced a 24-hour blockade on Knez Milos Street in the center of Belgrade near the buildings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. It is planned that on December 30, the blockade will grow into a large-scale rally.
On December 24, demonstrators tried to break into the city administration building. Police officers used tear gas and dispersed the protesters; 35 people were detained. On the same day, Aleksandar Vucic, in an address to the nation, stated that there is no revolution in Belgrade. He called on citizens not to worry and promised to fight the influence of foreign intelligence agencies interfering in the country's affairs.
