A strong earthquake struck the Philippines on Friday, Anadolu Agency reports citing the US Geological Survey.
It said the earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale hit Burias island.
The earthquake, with a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), was reported at around 0814GMT.
According to the PHIVOLCS, the country’s institute for monitoring and mitigation of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and tsunami, the magnitude of the earthquake was 7.2.
